Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality care
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and updating care records
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and families
- Supporting residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities
- Ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming
- Promoting dignity, independence, and choice for every resident
- Participating in audits, inspections, and team meetings
Qualifications
- Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Experienced in elderly care or dementia support
- A confident leader with strong supervisory skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- A great communicator and team player

Located with easy links to Leeds and Wakefield, Lofthouse Grange & Lodge is a modern home specialising in the care of older people, with the Grange providing 24hr residential care for 31 residents, and the Lodge providing additional round the clock dementia care to 57 residents. Orchard Care Homes has been providing care for older people for over 15 years.
