Exciting times at Paisley Lodge! We\’re thrilled to be expanding our team with a brand-new opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to take the helm of our specialist mental health community. If you\’re passionate about delivering exceptional person-led care, and making a difference to the lives of the people you support, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated clinical team and make a real impact in the lives of residents with complex and enduring mental health needs.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Lead quality clinical practice and ensure compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards.
- Conduct regular clinical audits, risk assessments, and reflective practice sessions.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to nursing and care staff.
- Collaborate with external professionals and contribute to strategic planning.
- Support strategic decision-making with the home and deputy manager.
- Lead our support and inclusion groups within the home\’s community.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (Mental Health preferred) with valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6 months leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Significant experience in mental health, ideally in acute or rehabilitation inpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, MCA, DoLS, and safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience in care home settings.
- Training in PBS, trauma-informed care, or similar frameworks.
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health or leadership preferred.

Orchard Care Homes has a network of 23 care homes and has been providing care for older people for over 15 years.
