A short walk from the centre of Castleford, with good access to public transport and rail and road links, Castleford Lodge is a mid-size home providing experienced care for elderly residents with a wide range of complex needs, including dementia. We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home and to help lead our team with professionalism and empathy.
What Youâll Be Doing
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Lead, supervise, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care.
- Participate in assessments and care reviews, acting as a key contact for residents, families, and staff.
- Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Promote a positive, resident-focused culture in line with our âGoodâ CQC rating.
Weâre Seeking Someone Who Is
- Has previous experience in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
- Level 5 Leadership and Management for Adult Care qualification, or is currently working towards it.
- A Registered Nurse, with a current and valid NMC pin.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Has a natural ability to put others at ease and foster a supportive team culture.
