About the role

We are looking for an apprentice to join our software support team: someone who knows their way around a computer and is not afraid to work hard to learn quickly on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for IT support activities (categorising, prioritising, and solving tickets)
  • Support senior and junior developers on ground‑breaking projects and cutting‑edge development activities
  • Work closely with customers to scope incoming project requests
  • Understand OST’s organisational systems to develop and support customers
  • Responsible for customer contact and project ownership around your development works

Qualifications and skills

  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Have a basic understanding and passion for IT
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Preferred: IT hardware skills
  • Preferred: Prior education and/or working experience in IT
  • Preferred: Good communication skills through a variety of methods
