Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in the delivery of complex fabricated engineering solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of engineering and fabrication-based project delivery from inception through to completion. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical fit-out project management. Candidates must have a minimum of five years' experience in this area, as this is essential to the success of the role. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a consistently high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle management of engineering and fabrication projects
  • Coordination of mechanical and electrical installation activities
  • Development and maintenance of project programmes and delivery plans
  • Management of budgets, cost control, and commercial performance
  • Liaison with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Risk identification and mitigation throughout project delivery
  • Overseeing procurement and material scheduling
  • Ensuring accurate and complete project documentation

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience in mechanical and electrical fit-out projects
  • Proven background in engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Demonstrable experience delivering fit-out or installation-based projects end-to-end
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning tools

Important: Candidates without proven mechanical and electrical fit-out project management experience will not be considered.
