Prepper – Derby Workshop Start Date: Immediate Start Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.50 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm * Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm Job Description Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for 2 x Vehicle Preppers to join our client’s busy workshop in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Preppers / Bodyshop Operatives seeking ongoing, full-time work with immediate starts available. Key Responsibilities * Prepare vehicles such as cars, vans, and rolling stock for paint * Carry out smart repair preparation work, including sanding, masking, and minor filler work * Ensure all surfaces are prepared to a high standard before painting * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Follow all site Health & Safety procedures Requirements * Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper / Bodyshop Technician * Background in automotive, rolling stock, or similar industries * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Must have Right to Work in the UK What’s on Offer * Immediate starts available * £14.00 – £16.50 per hour (DOE) * Day shifts only – no weekends * Ongoing contract work How to Apply To apply or for more information, please contact: Jon Roome (phone number removed)
