Night Shift Fabricator

Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with steel plate up to 200mm. This role requires Fabricating and MIG Welding experience and proficiency in using hand/power tools and cutting torches Duties * Fabricate and heavy steel according to specifications and engineering drawings. * Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. * Utilise hand/power tools and cutting torches for cutting, steel up to 200mm thick * Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications * Time served Welding and Fabrication * Proven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly with steel plate. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. * Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools/cutting torches safely and effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. * Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Must pass an initial bare wire MIG Weld Test * Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu nights If you are passionate about fabrication and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
