Job Summary: We are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Duties
- Multi drop HGV Class 2 Deliveries across the UK
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry both inside and out
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho
- Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, IN, TT)
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road
Pay/Salary
Pay rate is £15.44 per hour Paye
Hours & Contract Type
Monday to Friday, Days, Potential nights out required, Weekly pay, Free onsite parking, Temp to Perm opportunities available
