Our Client is a designer and manufacturer of metal decorating and coating equipment.
Duties:
- Work from engineering drawings
- Programme, set and run machines
- Turning bias but milling experience also would be a big advantage
- Ability to program, set and run Puma 480 and 700 is a big advantage
- Ability to run Hass machinery is a big advantage—ST 30/vf2/Super mini mill
- Experience of Mazatrol would also be an advantage
Ideal candidate:
- Time served competent Machinist
- Extensive CNC experience in engineering organisations
- Be able to programme
- Must be able to read engineering drawings
- Work to detail and fine tolerances
- Flexible and able to work overtime as required
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary - £36,171 after 12 weeks qualifying period
- For the right candidate, we offer top grade of £16.24ph (£31,246pa)
- After a 12 week probation period, a weekly allowance of £94.71 is paid (£4,925pa)
- This is paid on holiday and sick but it is not included in the basic rate for overtime.
- 37 Hours pw = Monday to Thursday - 07.30 to 17.15
- Flexibility is required on start/finish times
Overtime:
- x 1.3 Mon to Friday
- x 1.5 Saturday
- x 2 Sunday
Pension scheme is Nest. Contributions TBC.
