Fitter/Multi Skilled Operative

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for a Fitter/Multi Skilled Operative for our client based at their Stourton Asphalt Plant near Leeds.\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\n * Health and Safety responsibility for the plant\\n\\n * Routine plant maintenance, fitting and housekeeping\\n\\n * Daily plant maintenance and PPM checks on the Coating plant\\n\\n * Planning maintenance and working closely with the plant manager to have spare parts on site\\n\\n * Keeping the 10-year maintenance plan updated and relevant\\n\\n * Working with contract fitters on bigger maintenance tasks\\n\\n * Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental Systems and reporting procedures\\n\\n * Providing cover when needed on the coating plant/depot, loading shovel and weighbridge\\n\\nExperience Needed/ About You:\\n\\n * Maintenance and fitting experience essential\\n\\n * Knowledge of Health and Safety safeguards (such as isolation/safe systems/risk assessments)\\n\\n * Knowledge/experience working in the construction industry (or similar)\\n\\nPay/ Salary:\\n\\n * Up to £41,000 per annum dependant on experience\\n\\nHours & Contract Type:\\n\\n * Monday to Friday in the main, however weekend work will also be required when maintenance tasks are required out of hours\\n\\n * 48hrs per week\\n\\n * Full Time – Permanent\\n\\nThe Next Step:\\n\\n * If you think this would be a great fit for you then APPLY NOW.\\n\\n * Alternatively, you can call our consultant, Paul, on (phone number removed) for more info
