Our Client is a designer and manufacturer of metal decorating and coating equipment.

Duties:

  • Work from engineering drawings
  • Programme, set and run machines
  • Turning bias but milling experience also would be a big advantage
  • Ability to program, set and run Puma 480 and 700 is a big advantage
  • Ability to run Hass machinery is a big advantage (ST 30/vf2/Super mini mill)
  • Experience of Mazatrol would also be an advantage

Ideal candidate:

  • Time served competent Machinist
  • Extensive CNC experience in engineering organisations
  • Be able to programme
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings
  • Work to detail and fine tolerances
  • Flexible and able to work overtime as required

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary - £36,171 after 12 weeks qualifying period
  • For the right candidate, we offer top grade of £16.24ph (£31,246pa)
  • After a 12 week probation period, a weekly allowance of £94.71 is paid (£4,925pa)
  • This is paid on holiday and sick but it is not included in the basic rate for overtime.
  • 37 Hours pw = Monday to Thursday - 07.30 to 17.15
  • Flexibility is required on start/finish times
  • Overtime x 1.3 Mon to Friday, x 1.5 Saturday, x 2 Sunday
  • Pension scheme is Nest Contributions TBC
