Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for 4 Electrical Maintenance Engineers and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent role with strong earning potential, overtime opportunities and long-term career progression.

Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating 3-shift pattern:
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- 10:00pm - 6:30am
The Role:
As an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and production equipment, carrying out repairs, installations and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Duties:
- Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Electrical project work
- Equipment installations
- Working within a maintenance engineering team
- Supporting continuous improvement activities
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, foundry or heavy industry environments would be advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern
- Good communication and team-working skills
