Orbital Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) tippers or flatbed drivers to work for our highly respected haulage client operating a mixed fleet of 25 vehicles which includes modern tippers and flatbeds that can carry loads up to 30 tonnes running out of Buxton and supplying aggregate and construction customers nationwide. This client is one of the best in the business and has been around for almost 50 years!
Duties:
- Class 1 driver needed for collection and delivery of aggregate and concrete products.
- Usually 2-3 drops per day to building sites and builders merchants Nationwide.
- This work is Monday to Friday.
- Start times around 06:00 and workday is usually around 10hrs.
- Short site induction prior to first run.
- Ratchet strap experience would be beneficial for flatbed work.
- Any tipper experience would be most welcome.
Experience Needed/ About You:
- Class 1 Cat C+E licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digicard
- Minimum of 1 year experience on British roads
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences
- Good standard of written / spoken English
- Nights out are an option – not compulsory for the flat bed drivers.
Pay/ Salary:
- £20 per hour flat rate
