Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for B1 Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join their busy manufacturing operation in Somercotes. This is a dual-role position and applicants must be willing to undertake general operative duties when not operating the FLT.

Hours:

  • Monday: 06:00 – 16:30
  • Tuesday: 06:00 – 16:30
  • Wednesday: 06:00 – 16:00
  • Thursday: 06:00 – 16:00
  • Friday: 06:00 – 15:30

The Role:

  • Operating a B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
  • Supporting production teams with general operative duties
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Assisting with manufacturing processes
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements:

  • Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
  • Previous experience within precast concrete, construction, manufacturing or similar industrial environments
  • Flexible approach and willingness to carry out general operative duties
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
