Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: Ilkeston
Pay: £14.50 per hour + overtime (paid at 1.25x)
Hours: 40 - 60 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Orbital Recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy transport operation based in Ilkeston.
You’ll be responsible for collecting and transporting waste and recyclable materials between customer sites and processing facilities.
Duties include:
- Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle
- Following daily routes and schedules
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Liaising professionally with customers on site
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Following site and transport safety procedures
You will need:
- LGV Cat C / Class 2 licence
- Current Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Good geographical knowledge
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays during busy periods.
- Approximately 40 - 60 hours per week, with enhanced overtime rates available for hours over 40.
- £14.50 per hour + overtime (1.25x)
