Full-time Permanent Management Posted 24 Sep 2026 Description Regional Team Lead – Vfast Engineering Location: Hastings, Kent + surrounding areas Department: Technical Operations Reports to: Head of Engineering Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30, with planned out-of-hours work, flexible overtime, travel, and participation in the on-call rota. Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience + overtime available as part of an on-call rota. Role Overview The Regional Team Lead is a senior field engineering role responsible for delivering exceptional service across the VFAST network while acting as the regional technical lead for engineering activities. The role combines hands‑on engineering with leadership responsibilities, ensuring installations, maintenance, fault resolution and infrastructure upgrades are delivered safely, consistently and to our engineering standards. Working closely with the other Engineering Lead, Service Delivery, Projects, Network Engineering and Commercial teams, the Regional Team Lead will provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, maintain quality standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the regional engineering operation. Key Responsibilities Regional Engineering Leadership Act as the senior engineering lead within the assigned region. Lead by example through professionalism, technical expertise and customer service. Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance and support to regional engineers. Escalate technical, operational and customer risks where appropriate. Support engineering resource planning alongside Service Delivery. Deliver installations, maintenance, upgrades and fault resolution across VFAST infrastructure. Undertake complex engineering activities where senior technical knowledge is required. Support infrastructure expansion, park upgrades and network improvement projects.
