The role
Orbit is delighted to be recruiting for a Third Party Management Officer to join us on an FTC until the end of June 2027 to provide project and administrative support to the Governance and Legal Services team, in connection with Orbit’s Third-Party Management Project. The role will support the development of accurate property and management data, coordination of information across multiple business areas, and delivery of key project workstreams relating to third-party managed homes, estates and communal areas. The Officer will help ensure information is recorded consistently and accurately, support reporting and governance activity, and assist in identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for process improvement. This role can be based from any of our offices - Coventry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Norwich, Erith or Kent, and will be an agile working role, with travel included across all of our office bases. This will be a one stage interview process, held face-to-face at our Garden Court offices, Coventry. This role is part of Regulatory & Governance where you'll help us give colleagues the support and expertise they need to be brilliant.
What you'll achieve
- Provide administrative and project support to assist delivery of Orbit’s Third-Party Management Project and related strategic initiatives.
- Support the collection, validation and maintenance of property, leasehold, freehold and managing agent data across multiple systems and records.
- Assist with the identification of data gaps, inconsistencies and operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Produce reports, trackers and performance information to support project governance, oversight and decision-making.
- Coordinate with colleagues across Legal, Governance, Finance, Customer Services, Neighbourhoods, Development and other teams to obtain and verify information.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records and audit trails.
- Support the development and implementation of improved processes, controls and ways of working relating to third-party managed property.
- Assist senior colleagues with project monitoring, action tracking and stakeholder updates.
- Contribute to a collaborative and customer-focused approach to the management of third-party managed homes and estates.

- Strong IT skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capability and confidence using formulas, data validation and reporting tools.
- Experience working with large volumes of data, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyse information and identify trends, anomalies and areas requiring further investigation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
