The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the data integrity and accuracy of asset management databases and other relevant systems. To develop systems and produce timely performance and monitoring information reports and data for internal use and external returns. This role is part of Property where you will help us to lead the way investing and maintaining 46,000 homes. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity.
What you’ll achieve:
- To design, deliver and manage a high quality data management proposition - achieving 100% accuracy at all times - and delivering timely and relevant management information and genuine portfolio performance insight.
- Create and maintain a 100% accurate database for Orbit group; earning the reputation as the “single version of the truth”.
- To ensure that the asset management information system/stock condition survey and other relevant databases and systems are updated on a regular basis and accessible to appropriate staff.
- To be responsible for checking the accuracy of the data held on these systems and provide analysis and reports.
- To develop reports to generate accurate asset management related performance indicators, and reports which enable managers to assess performance, benchmark against other organisations and support continuous improvement of the service to tenants and leaseholders.
- To develop the asset management data systems to provide accurate reports to monitor progress towards relevant legal and regulatory obligations and targets and provide accurate returns to the Group, Government, Tenant Services Authority and lenders as required.
- To control the collection and processing of all data.
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to analyse complex data and draw out key points.
- Excellent ability to set up spreadsheets/databases, manipulate and analyse data to produce reports to provide information to enable the planning process to be undertaken.
- Experience of using a range of I.T. packages (including Excel, Access, Word etc.).
- Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
- English and mathematics GCSE (or equivalent).
- Relevant degree, HND or equivalent or able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience.
