The role
Working within the Empty Homes and Lettings department, you will be working with a small team focusing on minimising rental loss caused by empty properties. You will be monitoring and reviewing all the process from return of key to letting of new homes.
Working in a hybrid manner, this role will involve a mix of home and office (Coventry) based working.
This role is part of Customer & Communities where you\’ll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.
What you\’ll achieve
You will actively track all Empty Homes using relevant IT systems. Working to monitor all Empty Homes daily, tracking works in progress\’ and raising tasks to highlight blockages and use data to spot trends and ways to improve services levels. You will be processing void utility bills to ensure accurate payments are made.
- Review data and identify possible trends for improving service levels in day-to-day delivery and performance in conjunction with other relevant teams.
- To review the WIP daily and assist managers and teams to plan and manage empty homes to be let as quickly as is possible, identifying priority daily actions.
- Raise tasks, early warning flags and produce daily reports to assist teams with managing empty homes within timescales
- Build reports and dashboards – giving commentary on data, including trends and forecasting to support operational decision making.
