Neighbourhood Manager – the role Fixed term contract available until January 2026 Location – Stratford and South (Greenhill Street Office base) Role closes 9am 30th July We are seeking an experienced housing professional to join our Neighbourhood Manager team. In this role, you will represent Orbit in local communities, coordinating internal and external services to meet diverse customer needs and maintaining high standards of delivery. Key duties include managing relationships with Local Authorities and Housing Association partners, serving as the main contact for customers regarding ASB complaints, estate services, and tenancy management. Strong customer focus and effective time management are essential, as is a willingness to be present in the community three days per week, with some evening or weekend work as required. What you\’ll bring Essential skills Strong background in housing and tenancy management, with a solid understanding of housing legislation and regulatory requirements. A commitment to safeguarding, with a clear awareness of the needs of vulnerable individuals and a proactive approach to supporting them. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle complex situations with empathy and confidence. A full UK driving licence, along with a flexible approach to travel and working hours, including participation in an out-of-hours rota when required.
