Neighbourhood Manager – Your Opportunity to Make a Real Difference

Covering a patch across Henley in Arden and surrounding area (Alcester, Snitterfield, Solihull etc) our Neighbourhood Manager role is all about making positive change where it matters most – in your community. As the dedicated local lead, you\’ll be the friendly face customers turn to for support, guidance, and solutions. Whether it\’s working with Local Authorities and Housing Association partners or helping residents with Anti Social Behaviour concerns, estate services, and tenancy matters, your focus will be on delivering an exceptional experience every step of the way.

In this role, you will represent Orbit in local communities, coordinating internal and external services to meet diverse customer needs and maintaining high standards of delivery.
Key duties include managing relationships with Local Authorities and Housing Association partners, serving as the main contact for customers regarding ASB complaints, estate services, and tenancy management. Strong customer focus and effective time management are essential, as is a willingness to be present in the community three days per week, with some evening or weekend work as required.

The role will cover the South Warwickshire area with access to our Greenhill Street Office. This role works in a hybrid way using a blend of field, home and office based working.
What you’ll achieve
You’ll ensure a high-quality, end-to-end customer experience, focusing on safety, wellbeing, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. By building relationships and upholding standards in our neighbourhoods, you’ll support our commitments and contribute to our overall strategy.
What you’ll bring
Essential skills
- Strong background in customer centred operations or similar, with a demonstrable track record of case or portfolio management;
- A commitment to safeguarding, with a clear awareness of the needs of vulnerable individuals and a proactive approach to supporting them.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle complex situations with empathy and confidence.
- A full UK driving licence, permanent access to an appropriate vehicle along with a flexible approach to travel and working hours, including participation in an out-of-hours rota when required.
- Self‑motivated and independent, yet able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment
Desirable skills
- Diploma in Housing / Foundation degree from CIB / Level 3 in Housing Management or equivalent or a commitment to work towards these within 12 months of completing a probationary period.
