The role
Orbit are delighted to be recruiting for a Recruitment & Compliance Coordinator to join our Resourcing team in this newly created role, in continuing to attract and hire exceptional talent into our organisation. The Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an efficient, compliant and high-quality recruitment service across all hiring types, including permanent, fixed term, temporary and contractor engagements.
Working as part of the Talent Acquisition team, the role provides operational support, coordination and first-line candidate and colleague liaison to ensure the timely and effective delivery of workforce requirements across the organisation. While the role will cover all aspects of Orbit's talent acquisition, the overarching focus will be on the delivery and management of administrative, co-ordination and reporting activities linked to Orbit's temporary recruitment framework.
To be successful in this role, you'll be an organised individual with a structured approach to processes and a key interest in data, reporting and compliance monitoring. You'll enjoy working within a fast-paced environment, that will see you building new relationships daily, liaising with stakeholders, and managing external suppliers. This role is known internally as 'Talent Acquisition Coordinator' and is part of People and Strategy where you'll help us to build a culture and brand that people want to be part of.
What you’ll achieve
- Act as a point of contact for agencies and agency supplied worker and contractor queries.
- Lead on compliance checks linked to temporary recruitment ensuring that agencies have carried out and uploaded required documentation linked to the framework agreement.
- Maintain accurate records of temporary workers, extensions and end dates.
- Track and follow up on any outstanding weekly timesheet approvals with hiring teams.
- Produce detailed analysis of compliance check and audit outcomes.
- Support the team with new supplier requests, governance signing documentation and supplier onboarding.
- Support the evaluation and creation of month end reporting and ad-hoc requests.
- Support and guide colleagues and hiring managers with systems access, guidance on usage and ongoing support.
- Draft and publish job adverts and talent attraction assets ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Schedule interviews, assessments and meetings, liaising with candidates and colleagues.
What you’ll bring
Essential skills- Experience supporting or acting on recruitment or HR processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience of communicating with candidates, hiring managers and agencies on talent acquisition related matters.
- Practical experience and awareness of recruitment compliance (right to work, working time regulations, agency worker regulations etc).
- IT proficient with recruitment platforms such as talent acquisition systems (ATS) and vendor management systems (VMS).
- Proven ability to work with financial or numerical data with experience of reconciliations.
- Experience in both permanent and temporary recruitment environments.
- Understanding of IR35 and contingent workforce management.
- Experience producing or interpreting recruitment MI reports.
