The role

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Learning Advisor to join us on a 6 month FTC. As a Learning Advisor, you will work with the People Development Partners to deliver on the learning and development plan supporting all business areas. The Talent & Performance Team are in an exciting period of evolution as we enhance our learning offering. This role is key to ensuring that our colleagues have opportunities to develop themselves as well as providing support to land new initiatives, processes, systems and change activity across the business as a whole.

What you'll achieve

  • Work with the People Development Partners to deliver on the learning and development plan supporting all business areas
  • Design and deliver learning interventions following the 70:20:10 model to develop individuals capability across the business
  • Deliver induction training for new colleagues joining the Customer Hub as and when required
  • Delivery of corporate induction to new starters joining the wider business as and when required
  • Designing blended learning solutions and work with the Learning Content Developer to create flexible and innovative learning solutions
  • Partner with the business in key projects and develop blended learning solutions to support the introduction of new products, services and systems
  • Deliver training at other Orbit sites as required
  • Deliver ongoing training across the business including (but not limited to); process updates, system updates, soft skills training, behavioral development, general upskilling.
  • Monitor how effectively learning has been transferred to colleagues
  • Build strong working relationships with the team across all levels offering guidance, support, coaching and ongoing development opportunities
  • Build awareness of learning opportunities through effective use of communication platforms including Viva Engage, MyLearning, internal communications channels and others, driving a culture of learning.

  • Ability to coach effectively, deliver feedback and advise on appropriate initiatives as a credible L&D expert.
  • A creative and agile mindset who can actively engage and inspire others using a range of learning tools and methods.
  • Requisite creative design and delivery skills in content creation and development
  • Proven learning delivery experience
