We are an employee-owned supported living organisation who specialise in providing bespoke packages of support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs who wish to live in the community in their own home. We support adults & young people with learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, support with and positively respond to?people's behaviours. We are looking to recruit a Part Time Support Worker ( 20 hours per week) for this vacancy to work in Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East, UK.?This role will involve weekends, evenings & nights – £14.22 ?per hour & £101.68 for sleep-ins, £10 enhancement per waking night shift This is an opportunity to work with and support a young gentleman with autism and a learning disability. Enabling them to live an enriched life and within their own home in the community. This gentleman lives in Lemington, which is on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. This person likes to get out in their car on a regular basis, for long drives and for visits to different venues within the North East. They also like to spend quiet days at home or in the garden. We are looking in particular for experienced individuals, who can bring their knowledge and skills to this support role. It is essential that the applicant must have a full UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE due to the need to be able to drive the mobility car of the supported person as part of the role.
