  • Provide L2/3 support for business-critical apps across Azure, AWS, and on-premise Active Directory services.
  • Monitor app health (Splunk, Grafana, SolarWinds, Azure Monitor); build dashboards and tune alerts.
  • Troubleshoot across app, integration, network, identity (AD/Azure AD/Entra), and infra layers.
  • Support Microsoft billing/licensing: invoice validation, license allocation, subscription governance, escalations.
  • Administer Atlassian Confluence Cloud: access, space governance, permissions, integrations, vendor coordination.
  • Support enterprise AV and conferencing (Teams Rooms, displays, room hardware) and vendor coordination.
  • Participate in on-call rota; lead incident triage, escalation, stakeholder updates, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
  • Own problem management: identify recurring issues, trend analysis, and remediation.
  • Support deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and operational readiness for releases.
  • Automate tasks with PowerShell, Python, and Terraform to reduce manual toil.
  • Troubleshoot SQL databases and support DB-related incidents.
  • Monitor/support APIs, middleware, and scheduled/batch workflows.
  • Support endpoint/app security: Defender, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event investigation.
  • Support audit & compliance: gather evidence and track remediation.
  • Partner with development to embed observability, resilience, and ops best practices.
  • Maintain DR/BCP docs, run recovery tests, and validate backups/failovers.
  • Manage vendor escalations, SLAs, third-party changes, and service reviews.
  • Report service health, SLAs/SLOs, and cloud usage; help optimize costs.
  • Lead continuous improvement to boost resilience, cut MTTD/MTTR, and increase automation.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, diagrams, KB articles, and support guide.

About you

  • Experienced in enterprise application support across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach.
  • Clear communicator who remains composed under pressure.
  • Ownership-driven, autonomous, and proactive in improving systems and processes.
  • Strong collaborator with a security-minded approach to operations.
  • Disciplined in documentation, operational rigour, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable with scripting/automation and eager to advance these skills.

Nice to have

  • Vendor contract and SLA management experience.
  • Relevant certifications, e.g: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Understanding of ITIL and service management practices.
