🤝 Orbis is retained by a product company transforming credit and lending decisions for major financial institutions in the Middle East.
🏦 Their latest focus is the credit approval process within institutional banking.
The platform ingests credit and risk documentation, generates structured recommendations, and gives decision makers an assistant that can interrogate lending proposals in real time.
📈 You'll work directly with senior stakeholders at a major Middle Eastern bank, understanding how credit decisions are actually made and translating that into product features and roadmap priorities.
- This requires genuine fluency in investment and credit workflows, including:
- Deal screening and due diligence
- Credit analysis and risk assessment
- IC memo preparation and investment committee processes
- Portfolio and risk monitoring
- Market signals, valuation and factor analysis
🧑 💼 You should understand the personas involved, from analysts and associates through to VPs, portfolio managers, credit officers and IC members, and how each of them works through a decision.
💹 Fluency with major financial data providers such as Bloomberg, Fact Set, Pitch Book, Preqin, LSEG and S&P Capital IQ is important.
You should appreciate how difficult it is to retrieve the right information across these sources, resolve entities, and build products that investment professionals can actually trust.
🚀 We're also looking for someone who has helped move a business from bespoke client delivery towards a scalable product platform, ideally within financial services, investment management, banking or private markets.
🔎 Exposure to modern AI products (Gen AI, LLMs, document intelligence) is useful but secondary.
You don't need to be technical.
What matters most is credibility with credit officers and investment professionals, and the ability to translate their needs into product requirements.
📞 Get in touch if you've built products in credit, lending, risk or investment management, and want to bring that expertise into an AI-driven build.
