I'm partnered with a leading global media and data platform in the digital asset space, who are looking for Senior & Lead Software Engineers to join their London based engineering team.
You’ll play a key role in designing, building and optimising systems that aggregate, process and deliver real-time cryptocurrency and financial market data. They are tech agnostic and open to experience but they primarily use Go and Node so you must be prepared to pick that up.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend services in Go
- Leading the technical direction of key projects, making decisions around architecture, performance and maintainability
- Integrating multiple external data sources and APIs into a unified data platform
- Collaborating with product, data and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Creating detailed internal documentation and conducting peer reviews to uphold high engineering standards
- Building robust test coverage including unit, integration and E2E tests
What You need:
- Significant experience building high-throughput, scalable systems
- Deep expertise in either Go, Node or Java, writing clean and maintainable production-grade code
- Strong understanding of performance optimisation, observability and reliability best practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
Location & Working Setup:
This role is based in central London, where they operate 5 days per week in the office.
Package: Up to £150k base, depending on experience + bonus + potential equity
