Our client, a leading financial services business are seeking an Operations Analyst to assist with the smooth and efficient operational flows across their full clearing life cycle incorporating, settlement, margining, collateral and all associated risk and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete management of the clearing life cycle for all trades, including trade validation, position management & settlement.
  • Assist with clearing processes, controls or reconciliations, dealing with any breaks or operational issues.
  • Processing and monitoring of margin requirements.
  • Monitoring and management of collateral movements.
  • Identification of operational risks, control gaps and inefficiencies within clearing and risk processes.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for customers on operational queries, escalating issues where appropriate.

Experience & Background

  • 6 months to 3 years experience working within a similar role across operations, middle office or client services.
  • Knowledge of Derivatives or Commodities markets would be advantageous - but not essential.
  • High work ethic, with the capacity to work in a very broad and busy remit.
  • Experience of working within a customer facing role or interest to do so.
