A leading global asset manager is building out its Enterprise Architecture function and is seeking a highly technical Lead Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's long-term technology direction.
You will work closely with engineering and delivery teams to define and embed scalable, cloud-first architectural patterns that support modernisation, simplification and platform evolution across the business.
The Role- Define and evolve current and target state enterprise application architecture
- Provide architectural oversight on large-scale, mission-critical platforms
- Champion reusable, scalable and secure cloud-first design principles
- Establish and embed application development patterns and engineering best practice
- Drive modernisation and optimisation initiatives across a complex technology estate
- Influence senior stakeholders and technical teams across multiple domains
- 10+ years' experience with significant time in senior architect or principal engineering roles
- Strong background in application architecture and modern design patterns
- Experience with at least one object-oriented language (C#, Java or C++)
- Deep understanding of databases, messaging and distributed systems
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP) across on-prem, hybrid and cloud-native models
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and tooling
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to work alongside engineering teams
