A leading European private credit manager is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join on a contract basis. This role will focus on taking AI proof‑of‑concepts developed across the investment business and productionising them into scalable solutions. You will act as the key bridge between investment teams (Portfolio Managers, Credit, and Origination) and technology, helping transform AI ideas into practical tools that enhance investment decision‑making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated AI engineering lead responsible for productionising AI POCs.
- Develop and fine‑tune LLM‑based solutions (e.g. RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search).
- Collaborate closely with investment professionals and technology teams to translate concepts into deployable solutions.
- Build and integrate AI‑driven applications across portfolio management, credit, and origination workflows.
- Work with data end‑to‑end: ingestion, cleansing, structuring, and deployment.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with C# and/or Python.
- Cloud platform experience, ideally within the Azure ecosystem.
- Experience working with LLMs and AI integrations (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, etc.).
- Ability to interact with, cleanse, and structure data end‑to‑end.
Ideal Background:
- Experience within private markets, private credit, or asset management.
- Comfortable working directly with investment teams and business stakeholders.
