Our client is a leading investment-focused organisation looking to appoint a PMO Director level to drive strategic transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide change. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CTO, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver critical business initiatives across operations, technology, finance, legal, compliance, and investment teams. You will work closely with senior leadership to establish effective governance, drive delivery accountability, and ensure programmes are executed efficiently across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic transformation initiatives from concept through execution and stabilisation.
- Drive cross-functional programme delivery across Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Investment teams.
- Establish clear governance structures, delivery frameworks, and escalation processes.
- Identify risks, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum across complex workstreams.
- Support the evolution and scaling of the operating model across business functions and geographies.
- Lead operational improvement, process optimisation, and workflow standardisation initiatives.
- Partner with Technology and Data teams on systems, automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Champion AI and automation opportunities across operational and business workflows.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while maintaining delivery focus and accountability.
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years’ experience in PMO, transformation, operations, or strategic delivery roles within financial services or institutional environments.
- A strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership and C-suite executives.
- Strong operational and commercial awareness.
- Experience leading business change, systems implementations, process improvement, or operational transformation initiatives.
- The ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and evolving environments.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with exceptional execution capability.
