OFS are partnered with one of the largest and successful Hedge Funds in Europe, headquartered in London, with offices around the world. They manage over $30 billion in assets and are known for their innovative, low-correlation strategies that deliver exceptional returns.

My client are looking for a Lead C# focused Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team that works closely with Quant’s, Traders and Portfolio Managers to build out core trading systems covering a range of asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Write highly performant, good quality and reusable code in C#
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and other engineers to ensure software meets performance and functionality requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions to support our investment strategies and risk management processes.
• Leverage data technologies, including MapReduce queries, to efficiently process and analyse large datasets.

What you need

• Expert level C# and SQL development skills
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals
• Comfortable problem solving across both technology and business domains
• Interest and prior knowledge in financial markets across all asset types
• Good understanding of the trade life-cycle
• Previous experience working for a Fund helpful
• Able to access London office 4 days per week
