The Orbis Product Recruitment Team is partnering with a well-funded AI company applying AI to real-world industrial and energy challenges. Having raised over £40m to date, the business is building software that helps organisations better understand, optimise and operate complex physical systems. Operating at the forefront of the emerging “physical AI” space, they are using AI beyond purely digital workflows to solve large-scale operational problems within critical industries.
They are hiring a Head of Product to shape product strategy and user experience across a technically ambitious platform used within critical operational environments. You’ll work closely with founders, engineers, and customers to turn deep technical capability into intuitive, commercially valuable products.
This is not a conventional product leadership role. They are specifically looking for someone with exceptional product instinct, strong customer empathy, and the ability to uncover what users really need beneath surface-level feedback. This will be an individual contributor role to start, with the view to build a team in the medium-term.
They are looking for someone with strong product leadership experience within complex B2B SaaS environments, alongside the ability to simplify highly technical workflows into intuitive product experiences. Strong communication, commercial thinking, and comfort operating in ambiguity are all key.
Experience within applied AI, infrastructure, operational software or workflow-heavy enterprise environments would be highly valuable. Exposure to industrial technology, automation, or operational intelligence products would also be beneficial.
Primarily remote-first (UK only), but must be willing to travel internationally twice a quarter.
Up to £140,000 base salary + bonus + equity.
