This is a temporary, on-site role based in Whitecairns for a Fabricator/Welder. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to create or repair structures, reading and interpreting engineering drawings. The role involves adherence to strict quality and safety protocols while working on a variety of fabricated items.
Qualifications- Skilled in Fabrication, Welding (MIG), and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using tools and operating metalworking machinery such as guillotine, saws, and grinders.
- Experience working within safety and quality standards, including adherence to ISO certifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work on-site in Whitecairns and adapt to a team-oriented and industrial environment.
- Previous welding certifications or advanced training in relevant engineering techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or Industrial sector is advantageous.
