A day in the life of working as a support worker includes:

  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Supporting our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
  • Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.

We are looking for people who care and have:

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
  • The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
  • No experience needed — just passion, patience, and commitment!

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
