A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker includes:
- Leading shifts and supporting the team
- Maintaining high standards across the service
- Supporting reporting and evidence‑gathering
- Working collaboratively with internal and external professionals
- Contributing to assessments and care/support plan development
- Promoting and celebrating the home’s achievements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in a support or care environment
- A full driving licence
- QCF Level 3 (or working towards it)
- Knowledge of statutory regulations
- The ability to lead by example and act as a positive role model
- Commitment to upholding company policies and standards
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessments
Please note: This role currently involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check. Requirements may change as the service transitions to adult support by 2027.
