A day in the life of working as a support worker includes:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Supporting our people during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
We are looking for people who care and have:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
