What your day might look like
No two days are the same — and that’s what makes this role so rewarding. As a Support Worker, you’ll:
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you support
- Help with daily routines, personal care, and developing life skills
- Support independence through activities, outings, and community involvement
- Celebrate progress — big and small — every step of the way
- Take part in fun, engaging experiences like train rides, trampoline parks, and local trips
- Work closely with your team to provide consistent, person‑centred care
You’ll also support with:
- Record keeping and care notes
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
