The Role: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with complex needs associated with autism.
About Llun Y Mynydd: Join our team at Llun Y Mynydd, a tranquil residence nestled in the serene rural surroundings of Llanfoist, near Abergavenny. Our individuals can enjoy relaxing walks along the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, shopping, bowling, local walks, arts and crafts are just some of the activities our individuals take part in.
A day in the life of working at Llun Y Mynydd includes:
- Providing high-quality care and support tailored to the specific needs of our supported individuals.
- Encouraging and assisting individuals in participating in activities, hobbies, and social interactions.
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalised care plans.
- Ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all individuals.
We are looking for people who care and have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities (Manual Licence holders only).
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
- No experience needed – just passion, patience, and commitment!
