About The Role
Deputy Manager - Ty Seren
Full time 37.5 hours per week - Hourly rate £15.80
Orbis Education and Care presents Ty Seren, a beautiful 7‑bed residential home in Swansea, designed to support adults with autism and complex needs to live safe, fulfilling and meaningful lives. We’re looking for an inspiring Deputy Manager to create a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where people feel valued, respected and supported.
Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in achieving regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional care, and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, deputise in the Manager’s absence and inspire your team to excel.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including transitions for residents.
- Act as a mentor and role model, ensuring the team delivers the highest standard of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Achieved or working towards QCF Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or currently working towards one).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in care, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and the Active Support model.
- Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities.
- A genuine passion for improving lives.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
