About The Role
Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep - £13.45 to £13.75 per hour - Full Time day and nights available. Plus an annual location allowance of £1500. We’re a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. Located in Lydstep, with views of the sea and the rolling Pembrokeshire hills, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive and homely living environment for up to six adults from the age of 18. In the main house are four en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area and a kitchen/dining area. In addition, there is a 2-bed self-contained flat.

Day in the Life:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment
- Supporting our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation
Qualifications & Skills:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable)
- No experience needed — just passion, patience, and commitment
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
