About The Role
Support Worker - Marshfield, Cardiff - Hourly Rate £12.60 to £12.80 - Full Time 40.25 hours per week.
The Old Vicarage provides a warm and welcoming home for up to 10 adults aged 18 and above. Nestled in the tranquil rural setting of Marshfield near Newport, our residence offers a spacious and comfortable environment. Each room features an ensuite bathroom, and our residents have access to large communal areas, laundry facilities, and well-equipped kitchens. Outside, our beautifully maintained gardens provide plenty of outdoor space for relaxation and enjoyment.
A day in the life of working at The Old Vicarage includes:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Supporting our individuals during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our individuals, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
We are looking for people who care and have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
