Support Worker – Dan Y Coed, Swansea
- Hourly Rate: £12.60 – £12.80 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Dan Y Coed is a welcoming and specialist setting designed to support children and young people in a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment. Our dedicated teams work closely with families, therapists, and teachers to provide personalised support that encourages independence, confidence, and growth.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our young people with their everyday lives. From personal care and learning activities to recreational outings and social opportunities, you’ll be there to encourage, guide, and celebrate achievements big and small.
You’ll work as part of a skilled and supportive team who are passionate about making a difference. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful connections and be a champion in someone’s life.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily routines, personal care, and educational activities.
- Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and social skills.
- Creating a safe, positive environment where children feel valued.
- Working with colleagues to implement care plans and maintain accurate records.
- Supporting with recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
What We’re Looking For
