Role Overview: As a Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
About Bangeston Hall: Situated in Pembroke Dock, Bangeston Hall is our largest home in Pembrokeshire, housing up to 17 adults. The main manor house has 10 bedrooms and ample communal space, complemented by a five-bed lodge and a two-bed home. The grounds feature a market garden, allotments, a polytunnel, a smallholding, and rooms for music and art, offering various opportunities for nature activities, life skills, and relaxation.
A day in the life of working at Bangeston Hall includes:
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities, leisure pursuits, and educational programs.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes independence and personal development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards.
We are looking for people who care and have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
