Salary: £35,500–£37,000 (Depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Orbis Education and Care is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Home Manager to lead our four-bed residential service for adults in Bridgend opening later this year.
At our Bridgend Service, you\’ll provide compassionate, person-centred support to adults with complex autism-related needs, empowering them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
Your Role as Home Manager
As Home Manager at our Bridgend service, you’ll have the unique opportunity to open and shape a brand-new residential home for up to four adults. From day one, you’ll lead a dedicated team in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment—establishing a positive culture built on compassion, respect, and excellence. You’ll ensure high-quality care delivery, champion best practices, and support individuals in developing the skills they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example and promote a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) culture that champions inclusion, safety, and respect.
Ensure the home is person-centred, placing the well-being and quality of life of each resident at the forefront.
Monitor the service regularly, maintain Home Improvement Plans, and implement effective action plans.
Manage risk, compliance, and safeguarding, ensuring all care standards and regulations are met.
Produce weekly management reports and maintain regular communication with the regional team.
Support your team’s professional growth, creating a high-performing, motivated workplace.What We’re Looking For
QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care
Proven leadership experience in a similar setting
Strong knowledge of adult care regulations and best practices
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with LD or Autism
A genuine passion for improving the lives of adults with autism and complex needs
Full UK driving license is essential for this role.Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
