What You'll Be Doing
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Providing support during recreational activities, outings and community integration – this includes swimming, cycling, rugby/football, rock climbing, surfing and running.
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, confidence and celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Qualifications
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
- No experience needed – just passion, patience, and commitment!
Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
