About the Role
Night Support Worker – Rosendale, Lydstep. £12.60 to £12.80 per hour for 35 hours a week. Shift time: 22:00pm–08:00am. Plus an annual location allowance of £1,500.
Who We Are
We are a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.
Location & Environment
Located in Lydstep, with views of the sea and the rolling Pembrokeshire hills, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive and homely living environment for up to six adults from the age of 18. The main house includes four en‑suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area, and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a 2‑bed self‑contained flat. We enjoy beach days, cinema trips, and swimming adventures.
Day in the Life
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
- Support our individuals during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Promote independence, self‑esteem, and confidence in our individuals, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
What We’re Looking For
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends.
- Regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
