About The Role

Support Worker Pembroke Dock - Maes Y Coed

Hourly rate £11.60 to £12.50

Full time 45.5 hours per week.

Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About Maes Y Coed: Maes Y Coed, our newest home in the Pembrokeshire area near Pembroke Dock, comprises four individual flats located on the grounds of its sister service, Bangeston Hall. We take pride in offering personalised care packages tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each adult at Maes Y Coed.

A typical day in the life of working at Maes Y Coed may include:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities, leisure pursuits, and educational programs.
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes independence and personal development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards.
