Support Worker – Rosendale, Lydstep
Orbis Education and Care invites you to join our team as a Support Worker at Rosendale, Lydstep.
Full Time: 43.4 hours per week – part‑time and night shifts are also available. Annual location allowance of £1,500.

A day in the life of working at Rosendale includes:
- Ensuring physical and emotional needs of residents are met in a supportive environment.
- Supporting residents during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Promoting independence, self‑esteem, and confidence and celebrating achievements.
- Collaborating to tailor support for individual needs.
- Keeping accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents.
- Performing general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
We are looking for people who care and have:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
- No experience needed – just passion, patience and commitment.
Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
