Introducing Ty Enfys
Set in the heart of Treorchy, Ty Enfys is our newest residential home, opening August 2025, designed specifically to support adults with autism in a warm, welcoming, and highly personalised setting. Be among the first to help shape this brand new service and create a nurturing environment where residents can thrive. We welcome both applications from internal transfers and new local applicants.
The Role
As a Support Worker at Ty Enfys, you\’ll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. You’ll support residents with everyday activities, from personal care and meal preparation to accessing the community and developing life skills—all while building trusted relationships and promoting independence.
What a Day Looks Like At Ty Enfys
- Supporting individuals with autism in their day-to-day lives
- Assisting with personal care, domestic tasks, and mealtime routines
- Encouraging participation in recreational, social, and educational activities
- Following tailored care plans designed around each person’s strengths and aspirations
- Promoting wellbeing, confidence, and independence
- Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and your team
- Keeping clear, accurate records of care and progress
We’re Looking For People Who Are
- Genuinely caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic
- Resilient, patient, and able to adapt to varied needs and routines
- Great communicators with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Eager to learn and grow professionally
- Comfortable using basic IT systems for documentation
- Flexible with shift patterns, including some weekends and occasional night shifts
- A driving licence is essential for this role
